Vendor recommended routine patching for performance, enhanced security and bug fixes.
Impact:
Calls should be considered at low risk during the maintenance whilst the AS servers are patched. No impact expected as servers are patched whilst others serve call traffic.
During Web Server upgrades, there will be brief disconnections for persistent API connections such as Akixi Wallboard and OBT Connector but these should automatically re-connect. Call centre and Receptionist clients may experience brief interruptions. User
Actions:
Unity (Call centre wallboard) may experience intermittent logout issues which will require users to re-login.
Checks:
EvolveIP Engineers will ensure AS servers are fully in sync before the patching, and run a full API/SIP test plan after the maintenance to ensure all services are fully operational.
Rollback:
Revert to backup snapshot taken before maintenance
